He has helped implement Agile in more than 20 countries around the world and has taught Scrum practices at companies such as Tesla, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Toyota, Rakuten, and Mercari.
His passion for mechanical engineering led him to found the automotive company Wikispeed in the US. He has made agility a reality in the hardware industry and exhibited at global auto shows in 2011.
He is also a TED.com speaker and has lectured on behalf of Google and Microsoft and served as a special lecturer at Harvard University and Oxford University, among others.
These Agile initiatives have been featured in Forbes Magazine, Harvard Business Review, Discovery Channel, Nikkei, Asahi Shimbun, and other media.
Biography
Joe was an invited special guest to introduce agile hardware within Google.
Joe worked with the leadership teams to expand the business using agile management.
Joe worked physically, helping build and improve thousands of tesla cars, and founded and operated the Agile program at Tesla. Joe also visited SpaceX.
Joe developed software for Microsoft business systems and worked directly with Bill Gates to introduce agile in the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation projects with millions of dollars of endowment.
Joe collaborated with commercial and military leadership to create agile contracts, agile production, agile aircraft design, and collaborate on the finances and operating model for the company.
Joe trained all staff of Toyta Woven Planet in Japan and China and USA. These projects are responsible for Toyota core business finances and the future of Toyota such as the self driving technology developments
Joe worked with the leadership to create the agile development practices for MB.OS and Mercedes Benz in hardware and software.

MobAI is any group work following the Mob format as defined by Woody Zuill where one or more people are assisted by AI tools. AI assisted Mob work has been practiced since 2001 when the predecessors of autocomplete were introduced to group work. The term MobAI, and #MobAI, was introduced by Joe Justice on May 15 2023 during an expert level online course, #JoeDX. MobAI is taught by Joe Justice using OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. The MobAI roles use these tools to research, make suggestions, and add automation. The Navigator role considers the suggestions and chooses the next work. The Driver role implements the Navigators choice by focusing on the tool. MobAi as taught by Joe Justice is used a variety of work types such as: Welding Production robotics programming Hardware engineering Electronics design Embedded programming Software development Contract negotiation Business development Marketing Product design Book authoring Education And more.
